Job Description
We require Four Experienced Seed processing operators for our plant In Methven, Canterbury. This will be a full time permanent role guaranteed minimum of 30hrs per week, maximum of 40hours per week, $33.56-$34 rate per hour. Monday to Friday 8 to 5 and overtime when required. The role includes: Setting up of machines for required product. Operation of machines. Cleaning of machines.
- Set up and operation of seed cleaning equipment to a safe and high standard. (Clipper 29Ds, Scalper, Cimbria Delta, Q-sage and Oliver gravity table, among others).
- Assisting with seed intake.
- Ensuring work area is kept clean and tidy.
- Cleaning down of equipment.
- Operating forklift.
- Packaging seed.
- Assisting other colleagues when necessary.
- Accurate record keeping of seed lines.
- Comply with all health and safety processes and rules.

- Previous experience as a seed processing operator.
- Ability to work with others as part of a team.
- Carefully monitors the detail and quality of own work.
- Able to plan, organise and schedule workload.
- Able to demonstrate initiative in addressing problems as they arise.
