We are seeking a reliable and experienced Store Person to join our night‑shift team in Ōtautahi, supporting our busy Warehouse Operations.

This role plays an important part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods throughout our distribution environment.

You will be responsible for accurate picking and packing of orders, stock replenishment, and maintaining effective inventory control — across dry, chiller and freezer areas.

Position snapshot:

• Location: Cumnor Terrace, Woolston
• Roster: Sunday to Friday, between 05:00 pm – 01:30 am
• Position: Permanent, full-time

Te Tūranga | The Role

As a Store Person, you will ensure the smooth and accurate flow of goods through our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing food products with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Replenishing stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Wrapping pallets and assisting with loading and dispatching.
• Completing routine freezer cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Assisting with stocktakes and general warehouse duties.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Operating an Aisle Master forklift safely in a freezer/chilled environment.
• Performing heavy lifting of up to 20–25 kg.
• Carrying out repetitive lifting and movement throughout your shift in a physically demanding environment.

You’ll be working in a temperature‑controlled environment, so being comfortable with chilled or freezer conditions is essential.

As part of a dynamic group, you will help Pick, prepare and pack fresh vegetables and fruits according to customer orders.

The Job:  In this role, you will work with fresh produce (fruits and vegetables), pulling, weighing, and packing supplies, as well as assist in stocking and other warehouse duties. Your main tasks will include:

• UX support for our brand website and digital spaces, as needed.

What you’ll bring

• 7–10 years of generalist design experience, with a portfolio that shows range, quality, and commercial thinking.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Strong Canva is a real plus.
• Packaging design experience is highly regarded.
• The ability to run a full job queue independently - you don’t need to be chased and you don’t drop things.
• Genuine curiosity about where design and technology are heading, and a view on how to make the most of it.
• Magazine or editorial production experience is a plus.
