We are a dairy shop located in Tokoroa, South Waikato, and we are now seeking One detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Administrator to support our retail operations. You’ll work Full-time, and play a key role in maintaining high service levels and supporting sales through efficient warehouse administration.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Days Required:

Needs to be available from Monday to Saturday, between 7:30am to 9:00 pm;

May need to work on Sunday and public holidays


Hours per Week: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Up to 50 hours


Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Inventory:

- Receive and inspect incoming dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.)

- Maintain accurate stock records and manage product rotation (FIFO)

- Monitor product expiry dates and storage conditions (especially cold chain compliance)

- Coordinate deliveries and transfers from suppliers to shop floor or customers

- Track stock levels and assist with ordering supplies and restocking, to meet market demands

- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, safe, and organized

- Process phone or online orders, including packing and arranging deliveries


Sales & Customer Service:

- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations

- Support promotional activities and suggestive selling according to inventory level


Administrative:

- Prepare and file invoices, delivery notes, and stock movement reports

- Maintain accurate sales and inventory records for reporting

- Communicate with suppliers and logistics partners as needed

- Ensure equipment in-store is working as expected, including POS machine, security camera, computer, scanner, etc

- Other reasonable tasks as required 


Requirements for the applicants:

- You must have either

  at least 1 year of relevant practical experience in retail or warehouse

  OR

  A Level 4 or higher qualification in business

- Strong understanding of inventory control and food safety standards

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS/inventory software

- Friendly and professional customer service skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
