**Project Technician | Invercargill**
We have an opportunity for a Project Technician to join our Invercargill team, supporting the delivery of a range of infrastructure and engineering projects across the Southland region. In this role, you'll work closely with experienced engineers and project managers, providing hands-on support across project coordination, design documentation, site activities, and client delivery.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build their technical capability and project management experience, while contributing to meaningful work that supports local communities.
**What you'll do**
+ Support the delivery of infrastructure and engineering projects across the Southland region; and assist with consultancy services across transportation, water, buildings, and planning projects
+ Assist in preparing design briefs, project programmes, and cost estimates
+ Complete project documentation and administration, including reporting and maintaining records
+ Support investigations, design activities, and on-site supervision; undertake site inspections and fieldwork as required
+ Monitor project performance against programme and budget
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
+ Support safe work practices and ensure compliance with quality standards
**About you**
+ Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or related discipline
+ Around 2+ years' professional experience in a similar role
+ Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
+ Collaborative team player with a client-focused mindset and commitment to quality delivery
+ High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
+ Full, clean, driver licence

**Project Manager - Transportation**
WSP has an exciting opportunity for an experienced transportation-focused Project Manager to join our Civil Infrastructure team in Paeroa.
You'll manage roading and transport-related infrastructure projects for local authority and central government clients, combining civil engineering know-how with strong project delivery, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
**What you'll do**
+ Lead transportation and civil infrastructure projects from scope and planning through to delivery.
+ Prepare briefs, fee estimates, delivery plans, reports, tender documentation and contract documentation.
+ Manage project budgets, forecasts, risks, reporting, invoicing and commercial performance.
+ Coordinate clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.

**About you**
You're a civil infrastructure professional with a transportation or roading background, strong project management discipline and a practical, client-focused approach.
+ Relevant tertiary qualification.
+ Five years' professional experience in civil engineering, within transportation, roading or related infrastructure.
+ Experience with local authority or central government roading contracts would be advantageous.
+ Understanding of NZS 3910 General Conditions of Contract.
+ Strong project management skills across scope, programme, budget, risk, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
+ Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
+ Current full clean Driver Licence.

**Senior Project Manager - 3 Waters | Napier**
Join our growing Three Waters team in Hawke's Bay and help deliver essential infrastructure that supports thriving communities. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead a portfolio of Three Waters projects, combining strong project leadership, client relationship management and commercial expertise to deliver outstanding outcomes. Working with multidisciplinary teams across WSP, you'll play a key role in project delivery, business development and the continued growth of our Three Waters practice.
**What you'll do**
+ Lead the successful delivery of Three Waters projects, ensuring quality, programme, financial and client objectives are achieved.
+ Act as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director, providing leadership, direction and support to project teams.
+ Manage project scope, resources, risk, programme and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Monitor project financials, undertake project reviews and implement corrective actions to optimise outcomes.
+ Build and strengthen client relationships while providing exceptional service and communication.
+ Lead the preparation of bids and proposals and support business development initiatives across the Three Waters sector.
+ Collaborate with technical and project teams across WSP to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
+ Promote continuous improvement, share lessons learned and contribute to a strong project delivery culture.
**About you**
+ Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or a related discipline.
+ Approximately 8+ years of professional project management experience, ideally within civil infrastructure or Three Waters projects.
+ Strong understanding of project delivery, commercial management, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
+ Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver successful outcomes for clients.
+ Experience building client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth.
+ Commercially minded with the ability to understand business drivers and project performance metrics.
+ A collaborative and influential with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
+ Current full New Zealand driver's licence.
