About the role
NINO Seafood Restaurantis a busy Chinese restaurant specialising in traditional Cantonese roast meats and classic Guangdong dishes. We are seeking experienced Chefs to prepare, cook, and manage Chinese BBQ and Cantonese‑style menu items in a high‑volume environment.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing, marinating, roasting, and cooking Chinese BBQ meats (e.g. roast duck, roast pork, char siu) and Cantonese dishes
- Managing daily food preparation, stock rotation, and ingredient ordering for Chinese BBQ and hot dishes
- Ensuring consistency of flavour, presentation, and portion control according to house standards
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with the Food Control Plan
- Training and guiding junior kitchen staff in Chinese BBQ and Cantonese cooking techniques
- Coordinating with front‑of‑house and kitchen team to ensure efficient service during peak periodsSkills and experience required
- At least three years’ relevant experiences as a Chef or level 4 qulifications or Chinese Occupational Skills Testing Authority Certificate or a Chinese Certificate of Occupational Skill Level 3.
- Proven ability to prepare and cook Chinese roast meats and Cantonese dishes in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a small, multicultural tea

· issuing and collecting receipts for pick-up and delivery items
· keeping records of items received and delivered
· maintaining walk books, directories, mail counts, equipment maintenance logs and other delivery records
· loading and unloading mail conveyances and internal mail handling equipment
· assisting with receipting inward mail, checking wrongly addressed, missorted, undelivered and redirected mail, and processing freepost
and underpaid mail
The successful candidate must:
· hold a current , valid driver license
· fast learner, pay attention to detail
· physically fit, able to lift 20KG goods
· keen to learn the local area
· able to drive a Class 1 Van (toyota hiace hightop or equivalent, and maintain up to standard)
