Lalita Trasport is a reputable courier company that delivers and picks up goods to and from our valued customers. We are currently looking for five motivated, friendly, and physically fit individuals to join our team as Couriers Driver. DUE TO NATURE OF THE JOB, YOU REQUIRES TO TRAVEL  Otago REGION.

As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for picking up goods from our customers and ensuring they are safely transported to their destination.

Job Title: Courier Driver x 2

Job Type: Full time permeant, at least 30 hours per week.

Hours: Monday - Saturday 8am - 5pm

The job requirements are:
· sorting and sequencing items for delivery
· delivering mail, parcels, documents and other items to customers' premises and mailboxes
· receiving orders for deliveries from customers
· collecting signatures and charges for cash-on-delivery orders
· issuing and collecting receipts for pick-up and delivery items
· keeping records of items received and delivered
· maintaining walk books, directories, mail counts, equipment maintenance logs and other delivery records
· loading and unloading mail conveyances and internal mail handling equipment
· assisting with receipting inward mail, checking wrongly addressed, missorted, undelivered and redirected mail, and processing freepost
and underpaid mail
The successful candidate must:
· hold a current , valid driver license
· fast learner, pay attention to detail
· physically fit, able to lift 20KG goods
· keen to learn the local area
· able to drive a Class 1 Van (toyota hiace hightop or equivalent, and maintain up to standard)
· following the health and safety rules
· Training will be provided, so prior qualification or experience is not required but would be an advantage.

We are seeking an experienced Supply & Distribution Manager to oversee end‑to‑end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution across our national network.

• Plan, organise, direct, and coordinate the company’s supply chain, warehousing, and distribution operations

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support production targets and national distribution requirements

• Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, and logistics services, including supplier negotiation and performance monitoring

• Oversee inventory management systems, stock forecasting, and optimisation of storage capacity

• Lead and manage warehouse and logistics staff, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely delivery to supermarkets, distributors, and wholesale customers

• Analyse supply chain performance, prepare operational reports, and recommend improvements to senior management

• Manage budgets for warehousing, logistics, and procurement functions

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to food manufacturing, storage, and distribution

• Liaise with production, quality assurance, and sales teams to resolve supply chain issues and maintain service levels

• Minimum 2 years’ experiencs or level 7 qulification

• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, and national distribution networks

• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments (preferred)

• Proven ability to lead teams and manage operational performance

• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills

• Knowledge of food safety, compliance, and workplace health and safety requirements

• Ability to manage budgets and supplier contracts
