**_About the role_**
We are seeking a talented Production and Process Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will:
**Transform the Business:** Design and execute capital improvement projects that deliver measurable improvements in quality, cost, and production.
**Support Product Integration and Drive Continuous Improvement:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new products and product changes while identifying and executing opportunities to enhance productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
**Optimise Manufacturing Processes:** Drive continuous improvements by designing and implement process flows, testing fixtures, and equipment to ensure robust quality control and operational excellence.
**Lead Root Cause Analysis:** Investigate product quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
**Enhance Health and Safety:** Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety best practices, including preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

**_What you will bring_**
**Qualifications:** A Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, process, or equivalent discipline.
**Experience:** 3+ years of manufacturing experience with hands-on exposure to automation, workshop tools, and machines.
**Lean Expertise:** Strong understanding and application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, including DMAIC methodology, value stream mapping, and statistical process control (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred).
**Technical Proficiency:** Advanced skills in SolidWorks CAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), and statistical software.
**Problem-Solving Skills:** Ability to analyse problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions systematically.
**Health and Safety Knowledge:** Thorough working knowledge of health and safety policy in a manufacturing environment.
**Communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
