Looking for your next opportunity and available to start straight away? We have an exciting long-term temporary assignment (minimum 6 months) available for an experienced receptionist. Based in Newmarket, you'll be joining a close-knit and supportive team that genuinely enjoys what they do and takes pride in connecting great people with great opportunities.

This role is working full time 8am-5pm Mon-Fri and is an immediate start - we cannot accommodate notice periods.

The Role

  • Reception & Front Desk Support: Be the welcoming face of the office, greeting visitors and managing incoming phone calls.
  • Timesheet Administration: Assist temporary staff with processing electronic timesheets each week.
  • Candidate Documentation: Verify candidate documentation, support compliance requirements, and assist with onboarding new candidates.

  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and initiatives.
  • Social Media & Marketing Support: Assist with social media updates, newsletters, and engagement across platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

To be successful you will have:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a hotel or boutique accommodation environment, including experience in both housekeeping and reception duties.
  • At least 1 year's experience providing customer service to high-end or luxury clientele.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A friendly, outgoing and professional manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining exceptional standards.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience using hotel reservation systems, preferably RMS and third-party booking platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily bar operations and service delivery

Supervise bar staff and ensure high standards of customer service

Oversee inventory management, ordering, and supplier relationships

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing requirements

Respond to customer inquiries, feedback, and special requests

Plan and coordinate bar promotions, events, and marketing initiatives
