Key Responsibilities

As an Architectural Designer at MPA, you will:

  • Participate in all phases of design, documentation, and the architectural process.
  • Provide support during the construction phase.
  • Create presentation graphics for client meetings, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with project team members to conceptualize designs from inception through completion.
  • Assist with client communication and project management.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies.
  • Assume project leadership responsibilities as you progress.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills over time.
  • Influence and help shape the firm’s culture and direction.

Desired Qualifications

  • NAAB-accredited professional degree in architecture
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time architectural experience, including wood frame construction (residential and small commercial)
  • High proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop and InDesign), and Enscape (or other rendering software)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • A commitment to the AIA Framework for Design Excellence and sustainable design principles
  • An understanding of building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
  • Progress toward licensure preferred
  • LEED accreditation preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 based on experience and qualifications.
