Key Responsibilities
As an Architectural Designer at MPA, you will:
- Participate in all phases of design, documentation, and the architectural process.
- Provide support during the construction phase.
- Create presentation graphics for client meetings, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with project team members to conceptualize designs from inception through completion.
- Assist with client communication and project management.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies.
- Assume project leadership responsibilities as you progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills over time.
- Influence and help shape the firm’s culture and direction.
Desired Qualifications
- NAAB-accredited professional degree in architecture
- Minimum 2 years of full-time architectural experience, including wood frame construction (residential and small commercial)
- High proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop and InDesign), and Enscape (or other rendering software)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- A commitment to the AIA Framework for Design Excellence and sustainable design principles
- An understanding of building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
- Progress toward licensure preferred
- LEED accreditation preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 based on experience and qualifications.
