We are a growing fabricating engineering business, specializing in various fabrication disciplines, and are seeking a motivated and experienced Light & General Fabricator to join our team in Dunedin.
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, with proven experience in light fabrication including stainless, aluminium, copper, brass, and mild steel. A trade qualification in sheet metal work or light fabrication, or 5+ years of proven stainless fabrication experience with high-quality welding, attention to detail, and accuracy are required.
Key Skills & Experience:- High-quality stainless steel & alloy TIG and MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and understand CAD drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Punctuality and motivation
- Ability to work independently
- Team player
- Full New Zealand driver’s license
- Trade qualification or 5+ years industry experience in sheet metal fabrication
We offer a rewarding and challenging work environment with exceptional pay, ongoing training, and development. The work schedule is 10-hour days Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off, and optional overtime paid at time & a half rate.
This role involves working on a variety of projects, including architectural metalwork, general engineering, stainless steel balustrading and handrails, sink benches, non-ferrous metalwork, earthquake strengthening, and structural steel.
