We require 2 x delivery drivers to join our busy couriers and freight distribution business.
We need full time drivers working at least 30 hours a week.
Ideally, you will have:

Full Class 1 Drivers licence or equivalent

A can-do and motivated attitude and avaialbe to work Monday to Sunday, 6:00am and 6:00pm Rotating roster

High School Qualificaiton OR 0-6 months work experience
-
You must be comfortable filling out log books and paperwork, and happy to help out where needed. – Training will be provided

In addition, we need you to be physically fit, be abel to lift heavy weight, be reliable, hardworking with a stable work history, and an enthusiastic team player.
You will be performing the following duties but not Limited to:

Check the condition of the load and that it is secure
-
Confirm that the contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document
-
Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery
-
Communicate with dispatch as needed
-
Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
-
Check weather conditions and road reports before departure
-
Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
-
Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)

Notify of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
-
Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times
-
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
-
Track and report working hours
-
Adhere to company rules and regulations
-
Follow and adhere to all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions

Make safety a priority at all times
-
Loading/unloading of goods
-
Follow correct safety procedures
-
Keep records of, and check invoices for, goods they carry
