We are seeking some qualified and experienced Drainlayer to install, maintain, and repair underground drainage systems across residential, commercial, and civil construction sites. This role involves working with wastewater, stormwater, and subsoil drainage systems in accordance with New Zealand Building Code standards and local council regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and follow drainage plans, site drawings, and council specifications.
- Install stormwater and wastewater systems using PVC, concrete, clay, or HDPE pipes.
- Excavate and backfill trenches to required levels and gradients.
- Set out drainage lines using lasers and levels to ensure correct fall.
- Connect drainage systems to council mains or septic systems.
- Perform system testing (air, water pressure, CCTV) to ensure compliance.
- Maintain, repair, and replace existing drainage infrastructure.
- Ensure all work complies with the NZ Building Code and regional council requirements.
- Complete work reports, as-builts, and compliance documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:
