As a Business Analyst , you will be responsible for providing commercial, financial, and analytical support across the Worley operations, with a focus on pre-award analysis, project execution, and reporting. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with strong management accounting experience, who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a trusted business partner.

What You’ll Do
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in New Zealand .
The Role Responsibilities Include
- Analyse financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement across Worley operations.
- Apply a strong understanding of profitability drivers to create commercial models that assess business performance and opportunities.
- Interpret commercial terms and conditions in customer contracts to safeguard margins and ensure compliance.
- Lead monthly reporting processes, highlighting key trends and conducting variance analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Coordinate the business forecasting process to ensure timely and accurate information is available for senior management.
- Act as a day-to-day commercial business partner to the location management team, responding to requests and providing strategic support.
- Promote robust financial management by ensuring systems and data integrity are maintained and leveraged effectively.
- Work closely with finance, sales, project controls, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- CA/CPA qualified accountant.
- Relevant years of experience in management accounting or business analytics.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work independently.
- Experience with financial systems (i.e. AX, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel user to produce commercial models and efficient data analysis and graphics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable.
