We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, carpentry, and general building work, including framing, roofing, flooring, and finishing. Key Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair wooden structures (e.g, frameworks, roofs, floors, doors, cabinets).
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials (wood, drywall, fiberglass, etc.).
- Install fixtures, fittings, and finishes (e.g., trim, molding, staircases).
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople.
- Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or structures.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Carpenter.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods.
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.

Location: Rotorua – You must arrange your own transportation to the construction sites (we reimburse travel costs).

Tasks include:

• Framework Erection: Erect frameworks, panelised systems, and roof framing; lay sub-flooring and floorboards, ensuring all structures are true and level.

• Structural Assembly: Assemble prepared wood to create structures and fittings ready for installation.

Requirements:
- At least two years of relevant work experience or a relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification is required. Relevant fields include, but are not limited to, carpentry, building, construction, or any other related area.
- Ability to arrange your own transportation
