We operate primarily within the Auckland region and require drivers for a variety of tasks, including:

• Delivery and collection of skip bins to and from customer locations

• Transporting containers from ports and other locations to customer sites

• Tipping full bins at transfer stations

• Local and long-haul deliveries as required

You will be working Monday to Friday , with two Saturdays per month , and must be available for variable hours including night shifts, Saturdays, and public holidays as needed.

Job Summary: We are looking for a professional Class 5 - Day and Night shift Truck Drivers to join our Christchuch team.

Our client is a local contractor in Christchurch, with ongoing projects around the Christchurch CBD and subdivisions through Selwyn. 

With a number of projects due to start in the next couple of weeks, we are looking for skilled and competent All -Rounders to operator a variety of machines, in particular digger operators, Civil Labourers and Class 4 Truck Driver with WTR. 

Roles include:

Civil Class 4 Truck Driver with WTR - This role will include labouring when the job requires and operating a loader at times and moving other plant.  Experience driving on civil sites required. 

All- Round Operator - Confident in a machine and working on a range of sites. Drainage experience is preferred. 

Civil Labourer - Experience working on civil or drainage sites. Ideally you will hold a class 2 licence to drive a small tipper or WTR and have had experiecne on rollers, loaders etc. Other duties include plate compaction and being on a shovel, assisting drainlayers and other staff on sites. 

These roles will be immediate starts for the successful candidates, with long term temp to perm opportunities.

Job Duties (but not limited to):

• Driving Duties including loading and unloading of any goods.
• Drivers must be responsible for securing the load and delivering in a correct manner.
• Complete any require documentation.
• Complete daily Truck logbook and submit reports of mileage covered to head office.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to use handheld equipment for delivery purposes or willingness to learn to use one
• Carry out electronic logbook entries and electronic prestarts/inspections

• Willing to start work in the early morning hours or at odd hours of the night

ROLE

The full-time roles are based on a minimum of 30hrs of work and will be based on the days you are rostered depending on roster (Maximum hours is 50hrs).

This is a fast paced environemnt hence this role would not be ideal for someone who cannot maintain a pace or be an active worker.
