• Early morning shifts on Mondays and Sundays

• Start time: 3:00 AM

• 8–10 hours per day

• Some deliveries outside Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch may require overnight stays

Minimum 32 Hours , Maximum 35 Hours Guaranteed Per Week.
$ 27-30 Per Hour.

Job Requirement:

• Must have a valid Class 2 driving license 
• Minimum 1 year of Driving Experience required  (preferably in a similar role)
• Must pass a Criminal background check & Drug test
• Loading and unloading vehicles with items to be delivered
• Following navigation routes to deliver items in a timely manner.
• Confirming delivery with recipients and collecting signatures when needed
• Keeping records of deliveries and issuing invoices to customers
• Performing routine vehicle inspections to ensure good condition.
• Adhering to all safety regulations while driving
• Flexible to work early morning and weekends.  
• Basic computer skills would be beneficial.
• To ensure that all loads are secured appropriately.

 The successful applicant may be required to undertake a pre-employment drug test.

Our fast-paced Hamilton Foodservices site is currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver and Dispatch Support person to join the team immediately.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines delivery driving with dispatch coordination. You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of customer orders, planning efficient delivery runs, and supporting the dispatch process.

About the Role

• Immediate start, Perm full-time position
• Location:  Mainstreet Place, Te Rapa, Hamilton
• Days:  Monday to Saturday
• Hours:  02:00 am – 10:00 am (finish times depend on the delivery run)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and dispatch delivery runs in coordination with warehouse and operations staff
• Safely operate Class 2 vehicles (manual transmission)
• Deliver a wide range of food products across the Waikato region
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secure and undamaged
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Monitor and report vehicle condition (e.g., fuel, maintenance, oil, WOF)
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and relevant documentation
• Uphold company safety standards, especially regarding transport compliance
• Assist with general warehouse tasks and dispatch duties when needed
• Coordinate with Loaders and drivers for regional delivery schedules
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles

What you need:

• Valid Class 2 NZ driver’s licence  (manual driving required)
• Prior experience in delivery driving and/or dispatch coordination
• Good knowledge of Hamilton and the wider Waikato area is a plus
• Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Physically fit – able to lift up to 25 kg
• Clear criminal and driving history
• Experience or knowledge of food products or ingredients preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transport to commute to site

The job:

You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations in and around Tāmaki Makaurau, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.

• Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods

• Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills
• Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail
• Clean driving and criminal records
• Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients
• Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 20 kgs
