Your Role:
As a Carpet & Vinyl Installer, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately measuring, cutting, and installing a range of flooring products.
- Preparing subfloors to ensure a perfect finish.
- Installing carpet and vinyl (sheet and tile), including coved vinyl where required.
- Reading and interpreting plans and job specifications.
- Working independently and alongside a team to meet deadlines.
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety on every job.
- Interacting professionally with clients and team members.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- At least 2 to 3 years of sound experience as a floor installer.
- Proven experience in flooring installation, especially carpet and vinyl.
- Skills in coved vinyl installation are a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver a high-quality finish.
- Great communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Good time management and the ability to work independently.
- A full or restricted clean driver’s license.
- A commitment to safe work practices and a tidy work ethic.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

This role is responsible for the delivery of Residential, Commercial or Civil Construction services to our Clients.
You will be working within Waikato region, but may from time to time be required to work in Auckland, Wellington, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui, Otago, or Canterbury.
The guaranteed work hours per week will be 30 hours.
The Building and Construction Technician is responsible for providing technical support and expertise throughout all phases of the projects, including site preparation, building and construction, demolition, and all on-site operations.
The role will support project managers, site supervisors, and engineers, to ensure building and construction work is completed safely and in accordance with regulatory standards.
As a team player, the role will also be required to support and assist with all manner of general construction duties, site set out, and tidying under guidance of a Senior Construction Consultant.
Your accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Interpret and follow construction drawings
- Construction, installation and repair of wall framing, floor joists, foundation, and bearers, framework, framing, foundations, tilings, etc.
- Record measurements, material usage, and progress updates
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality of work and compliance with safety standards
- Operate machinery safely if required
To be qualified for this role, you need to demonstrate:
- At least 3-year work experience in construction sector, preferably with experience in formwork/carpentry.
- Can work unsupervised or part of a team
- Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening
- Put health and safety first
- Calm, professional and with good work ethic
- Drug free
- New Zealand citizens/residents, or with a valid work visa.
