We are seeking an ECE-trained and certified teacher to join our family-run centre in Island Bay, Wellington. We care for children aged 6 months to 5 years and we place fun and laughter at the centre of our programme. We are in an excellent location, so you can cut out traffic and the commute into the city, giving you more time for family and friends.
This position is permanent, full-time, and you will be working with 3 other teachers in our 2-3 year old classroom. The team loves trips into the community, music and dance, messy play, baking and having fun! You'd be teaching alongside our highly experienced Assistant Manager in a purpose-built classroom, with its separate playground.
The perfect fit will be some who is a:
*Early childhood trained- Level 7 diploma or degree, or comparable NZQA assessment.
*Provisional or fully certified and registered teacher,
*Confident in using Te Whāriki ,
*Committed to sparking creativity and curiosity in children's learning.

The position:
- Permanent, full time (40 hours per week)
- ECE qualified and registered Teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate, or a teacher in training, or close to completing your ECE Teaching qualification

- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite
