We APPQ Limited are looking to employ someone who can:
- Provide our residents with personal care as they accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the restroom
- Maintain all care records in accordance with company policy and audit care records weekly to ensure accuracy
- Communicate any problems, concerns or issues to residents’ family members as needed
- Ensure all patients take medications as directed by health care providers
- Build rapport with residents by establishing personal connections and showing interest in their lives
- Respond to any safety or medical issues
- Lead daily group and individual activities for entertainment
- Any other duties the employer reasonably may require employee to perform.
Pay rate: minimum $28.25 / hour - maximum $30.00 / hour
Guaranteed hours of work per week: minimum 30 hours
Requirements for the job:
- A Level 4 qualification or higher in a relevant field
- Or at least two year's relevant work experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both residents and staff
- Flexible multitasking and time management skills
- Candidates need to be NZ citizens/residents

- A minimum bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively
- Be able to complete our mandatory training and attend training sessions
- 5 + years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills
- NCEA level 4 or equivalent
