We are seeking a passionate and culturally responsive ESOL teacher to join our dedicated team at Don Buck School. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong relationships with learners from diverse backgrounds and who is committed to supporting the language acquisition and integration of multilingual students.
As our ESOL teacher, you will work closely with the SENCO/DP to plan and deliver targeted English language instruction. You’ll help ensure our learners feel confident, valued, and empowered to use English and engage fully in our literacy programme. You’ll also take the lead in developing and implementing language support programmes and maintaining records of progress.
We’re looking for an exceptional teacher who:
- Has a strong understanding of second language acquisition and ESOL pedagogy
- Brings empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity to their teaching
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Is flexible, organised, and able to work collaboratively
