$26.94 - $34.00 per hour based on experience and/or qualification.
60 - 80 hours per fortnight to be worked on a rotating roster basis.
Normal rostered shifts will be up to 8 hours and no longer than 12.
A variety of shifts are required to be worked each week including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Flexibility to work accross our centres in Hawke's Bay and Wellington regions is required.

- 40 hours per week to be worked on a rotating roster basis between 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility to work across centres in Bay of Plenty region is required.

You’ll follow clinic policy and procedures, and work under direction and delegation of a registered health professional.

Assist registered professionals by completing personal care and other activities that do not require specialist nursing knowledge, judgement or skill.
Improve utilisation of limited resources within the general practice, and patient care, education, and nurse-led clinics.
See more patients and pursue medical interests, and shorter waiting times for patients.
- Act as chaperone as required
- Manage patient recall system
- Quality Improvement tasks/auditing
- Stocktake, stock management and rotation
- Ordering supplies and medications (excluding vaccines and controlled medications)
- Maintaining/ordering small equipment and other supplies (excluding emergency medication/equipment)
- Whanau Ora referrals as requested
- Minor surgery setup, assist and clean up
- Surgical equipment sterilisation and stock management
- Maintaining the stocking of essential supplies in the Practice Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and General Practitioners exam rooms including the monitoring of the surgical trolley supplied
- Linen changes and ensuring the weekly/PRN collection of the laundry
- Interrelationship with the team and their roles
- Basic patient recordings – temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, blood pressure, urinalysis, height and weight – routine follow ups only – not for triage or initial assessment
- Complete basic administration tasks if required
