We have 2 fixed-term contract roles for 1 year, working Monday through Sunday on a rotating roster:
Role 1: 182 hours over 6 hours (30 hours average per week), 7.00am-3.00pm (2 days) & 3.00pm - 9.00pm (2 days)
Role 2: 192 hours over 6 hours (32 hours average per week), 7.00am-3.00pm (2 days) & 3.00pm - 11.00pm (2 days)
As a Caregiver at Bupa, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will be encouraged to develop deeper relationships with residents and their families, delivering the highest quality person-first care in line with their individual care plans.
Where You Will Make an Impact
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living, whilst treating residents with respect and dignity.
- Assist with mobility in accordance with resident care plans.
- Maintain accurate healthcare documentation as required.
- Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities.
- Contribute to a positive, safe, home environment for residents, visitors, and the wider team.
What About You
- An NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 is preferred.
- Ideally, you will have a minimum of 1 year of experience within aged care.
- Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm, dedication to care, and passion for enriching the lives of the elderly.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
