We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects within our portfolio. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project deliverables are met.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects stay on track.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
Prepare and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Manage client relationships and communicate project status regularly.
Ensure all health, safety, and environmental policies are adhered to on-site.
Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and quality standards.
Mentor and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Key Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex civil projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, timelines, and budgeting.
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Previous experience managing projects in the region or similar environments.
Experience with 3 Waters and 3 Waters projects.
Professional certification (e.g., Project Management Professional – PMP) would be an advantage.
