Job Description
This role ensures our operation is technically compliant in all aspects of Food Safety that meet our market access requirements. Ensuring both internal and external customers and NZ Food Safety Authority expectations for quality and compliance are met, through the internal auditing of our quality systems and certification processes.
At least 3 years of experience required or a Level 4 Qualification or higher.
This key role performs plant reality checks and undertakes tasks as required by the Compliance Manager. You will be supported by the QC team and other QAs in this critical role.
Key tasks include:
- Carry out internal audits to ensure compliance with the necessary bodies, e.g., MPI.
- Carry out and report on food safety, compliance, and plant efficiency audits.
- Plant reality checks are performed within certain timeframes with follow-up actions being taken as/when required.
- Assisting the Compliance Manager as/when required.
- Ensure designated issues raised by MPI are actioned.
- Quality policies are implemented and quality initiatives are supported.
- Product testing.
- Compliance and audit records are maintained.
