About the job:
We’re looking for an experienced Scheduler to join our team of everyday heroes in Auckland!
In this fast-paced role you will be working as part of a small team of schedulers, within the wider support team, to efficiently plan and schedule work for Citycare Water Auckland to meet both contractual requirements and productivity targets.
To achieve this, you will:
- Ensure work orders have enough detail to meet the minimum job details specification.
- Plan & schedule work to optimise efficiencies such as minimising staff travel time and downtime, increasing productivity and managing any disruptions or job prerequisites.
- Estimate appropriate job durations for word orders.
- Assign work to the appropriate staff members.
- Manage any disruptions in the work schedule, such as urgent jobs.
What you’ll need:
- Ideally you will have proven scheduling experience, preferably working in a contracting/compliance related industry.
- NCEA Level 3, or School Cert Equivalent is required for this role.
- You will have a high degree of accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail.
- A good understanding of scheduling and planning workloads, as well as the ability to drive and maintain operational efficiencies, is highly desirable in this role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, as well as some reporting experience.
- A full class 1 licence is also essential.
