**Job Description**
We're looking for an Environmental Scientist to join our team and contribute to a variety of contaminated land projects across New Zealand. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career, working alongside experienced professionals on diverse and technically challenging projects.
**How you'll make a difference**
+ Plan, manage and deliver contaminated land investigations for projects of varying size and complexity.
+ Participate in fieldwork; manage subcontractors and ensure high-quality data collection and reporting.
+ Prepare clear, concise technical reports and contribute to environmental assessments and remediation strategies.
+ Liaise directly with clients, providing timely updates and innovative, practical solutions.
+ Support project management tasks including invoicing, financial tracking, and overall project delivery.

**The qualities that help you thrive**
+ Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or earth science
+ 3-5 years contaminated land experience within a consultancy, council, or similar environment
+ Demonstrated experience in contaminated land management, environmental site assessments (preliminary and detailed site investigations) and remediation
+ Strong field skills including experience sampling and monitoring a variety of media, including soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapour, indoor air, including the willingness to travel and undertake fieldwork in cities and rural locations across New Zealand
+ A valid full drivers' license is essential
