Lead a team that supports good decision-making and strong relationships.
We’re looking for a confident and capableTeam Leader toguide our Governance Services team. In this role, you’ll make sure TaurangaCity Council and its Council-Controlled Organisations (CCOs) get the rightsupport to make informed, legally sound decisions.
You’ll help build strong relationships, improve systems, and keep thingsrunning smoothly in a fast-paced, digital environment. You may also step in asDeputy Electoral Officer when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead ateam that provides governance support to Council and CCOs.
- Makesure all processes follow the law and Council policies.
- Helpprepare agendas, minutes, and reports for Council meetings.
- Buildstrong working relationships with elected members, staff, and CCOs.
- Lookfor ways to improve how we work, especially using digital tools.
- Supportelectoral processes when required.

**Responsibilities**
- Response and Resolution: You own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues and act as an advisor to the customer, collaborating within and across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices.
- Readiness: You lead in building communities with peer delivery roles and share your knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching and mentoring of others.
- You deepen your technical and professional proficiency to enable you to resolve complex customer issues, through training and readiness.
- Product/Process Improvement: You engage with Microsoft Engineering/ Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects and help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools driving Microsoft product improvements.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years in designing, implementing and supporting solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
+ 5+ years technical background, enterprise experience, and knowledge in one or more of the technologies below:
+ Identity Synchronization Technologies
+ Authentication and Authorization Management
+ Enterprise level protocols (Kerberos, PKI, Oauth, SAML, WS-Fed, etc)
+ Identity Management
+ Federation
+ Security Management
+ B2B, B2C
+ Role based access control, Permissions management
+ MFA
English Language: fluent in reading, writing and speaking. If English is not native language, proficiency test results is a plus (e.g. TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge English Exams)
Flexibility to adapt working hours according to business needs, including weekends and be part of on-call rotations. Though schedule changes are not frequent, you will need to have flexibility to accommodate changes as needed.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of experience in technology, support, training, consulting, architecting, development, network, data center operations, IT admin or operations or equivalent education in technologies below:
+ Azure Active Directory
+ Identity Synchronization Technologies (Dirsync, AAD Connect, FIM.etc)
+ Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) - or similar 3rd party experience (Shibboleth, CA SiteMinder, Okta, PING etc)
+ Identity and Access Management
+ Office 365 Identity Management
+ Cloud Domain Management
+ Cloud User Management and configuration
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
