Massage Indulgence offers a wide range of massage and cupping services tailored to meet the unique needs of our valued clients. Our treatments include relaxation, deep tissue, pregnancy, remedial, and sports massage.

We are expanding and seeking four skilled massage therapists to join our friendly, professional team — two positions at our thriving Palmerston North branch and two positions at our brand-new Christchurch location.

Locations:

• Palmerston North (2 vacancies)

• Christchurch (2 vacancies)

Employment Type:

• Permanent, minimum 30 hours per week

• Rostered shifts, including weekends

Pay Rate:

• $30–$32 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality therapeutic massage services

• Deliver cupping and body treatments for relaxation, health, and fitness

• Assess clients’ needs and recommend suitable treatments

• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment

• Perform general duties as directed by the manager

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant industry experience OR a related qualification that includes anatomy and musculoskeletal studies

• Excellent hygiene knowledge and practice

• Caring, professional, and hard-working attitude

• Relevant certificates or qualifications preferred, but not essential

• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa required

Job Description: Thai Traditional Massage Therapist required to start job immediately

This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing.
• Utilize a range of Thai massage techniques.
• Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation & relieve muscle tension.
• Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and provide rehabilitation advice.
• Assessing the clients’ physical condition and case history and advise on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
• Perform therapeutic massage in accordance with best practice.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the storage and preparation of massage materials.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the massage working areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Work with a positive attitude and follow all lawful instructions.
• Employing other Thai Massage techniques and complementary aids and essential oils assist recovery.

Skills Required:

• Traditional Thai Massage
• Have good communication skills as basic English
• Have good time management skills
• Have good skills to deal with customers

Experience and Qualification Required:

• At a minimum the successful applicant will have at least 2 years of experience working in a Massage business is preferred OR
• Any Skill Standard Assessment Certificate as Traditional Thai Practitioner (Traditional Thai Massage) OR
• At least bachelor’s degree in any discipline with relevant experience working at a Massage businesses

A relaxed, professional and family friendly massage and wellness day spa is looking for experienced massage therapists to join us in Mt Eden. Our day spa specialises in professional massage therapy, as well as offering spa packages which includes facial and body scrub treatments. 

We offer a minimum 30 hours employment per week; flexibility required to be willing to work longer hours where required. 

The successful applicant must have the following:

• Hard working, friendly, motivated, passionate about working in wellness industry. 
• Industry experience of minimum 2+ years in a genuine Thai massage business or spa massage business is preferred. 
• Formal education in the field of massage therapy is highly regarded.
• Confidence in communicating and engaging with customers.
• Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays.

• The position of Massage Therapist is required to be filled at Panpurri Day Spa in Mt Eden, Auckland. 
• Liaise with customers / clients on their requirements and areas of concern.
• Deal with areas of concern by using a variety of Massage techniques within your experience and skills.
• Promote ongoing treatment and recommendations to further improve customers / clients well-being.
• Carry out massage therapist duties including greeting, preparing and using genuine Thai Massage techniques with all customers.
• Work with business owner to manage promotions and special deals.
• General duties within business scopes which includes ensuring the workspace is clean and presentable for all customers and a high standard of hygiene is maintained.
