Make a difference as a Social Media and Content Manager

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Take charge of our multi-platform social media strategy! Drive measurable engagement, content performance, and paid media success across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Leverage your expertise in data-driven decision-making, audience analytics, brand storytelling, and media optimisation to maximise reach, engagement, and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute high-performance strategies to boost growth, engagement, and conversions.
Optimise Multi-Channel Content: Ensure every post is tailored for platform-specific algorithms and audience behaviour.
Leverage Data Insights: Use analytics, A/B testing, and audience segmentation to refine content and messaging.
Create Impactful Content: Bring AMI and State brands to life with high-impact, performance-driven content.
Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure a cohesive brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
Maximise Paid Media ROI: Collaborate to manage and optimise paid social campaigns for maximum reach and efficiency.
Analyse Performance Metrics: Track trends and refine strategies using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
Innovate with AI Tools: Enhance content performance and audience targeting with automation and AI-driven tools.
Agency partnership – manage and lead agency relationships as required to ensure strong commercial outcome and growth objectives

Ōu Pūkenga | About You
Solid demonstrated experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related field.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
Strong understanding of content marketing paid social media, and influencer engagement.
Data-driven mindset with experience in social media analytics and reporting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills, and the ability to achieve consensus among several different departments, and to gain senior agreement for communications/recommendations
Proven experience leading and managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to measure and articulate the value of brand investment and subsequent ROI.
Experience using analytics and social listening tools
Experience working with data-driven insights to refine brand strategies and measure performance.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
Experience with Agency Management
