What You’ll Do:

  • Providing care that best suit the clients' needs, according to the routine in all activities of daily living.

Follow your manager’s instructions, and cleaning schedules and procedures. You may be required by MPI (Ministry of Primarily Industry) to
understand essential food handling procedures prior to commencing work in your workplace.

Promotion: You will undertake to help the business to promote its goods and services by giving samples, vouchers, suggestive selling or other promotions organized.
Teamwork & Training: You will be required to involve yourself and work as a team, under the guidance of your management.
This will also include helping ‘buddy’ train new employees, or other staff as required. You will be required to attend and contribute to any necessary staff meetings when required.

Incoming goods: You may be required to receive and check incoming goods from the company’s suppliers. In all situations, you will act professional and courteous.
Stock Monitoring: It is your duty to assist senior kitchen staff in maintaining a proper stock level. You will be required to check the quality and quantity of ingredients and report to senior staff if the stock is running out.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT: In all areas of your job, it is important you do your best on a daily basis, and strive to improve the quality of workmanship and productivity. This will be important in your Performance Review.

Bustling Nelson pizzeria and café restaurant seeks experienced Café Worker for full time role. Must have knowledge of Italian cuisine, be passionate about great customer experiences. Responsibilities

Ensuring that the standard and quality of the food service, customer service and hygiene within are maintained to a high standard at all times. In this role, you will be facing the customers and at times assisting in the kitchen as needed. This role is very hands-on, requiring pace of work, attention to detail and a great can-do positive attitude. We make an average of 200 quality pizzas per day, whic requires dedication, focus and teamwork. 

Suitable candidates will an eye for detail to produce the best experience possible for our customers, every time.

Minimum requirements

·    2 year of experience in restaurant or café work required; 3+ years preferred.
