About the role:
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and safety-focused Kiosk Customer Service Manager to join our team at Watersports Limited - home to some of Queenstown’s most iconic water experiences. In this key leadership role, you’ll ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations of our jetty and kiosk, delivering world-class customer service while leading a high-performing team.
What you’ll be doing:

Ensuring all trips run safely and in full compliance with Maritime NZ’s Maritime Operator Safety System (MOSS).

Supervising daily jetty operations - from vessel tracking and radio calls to managing departures and skipper availability.

Providing outstanding customer service, ensuring guests enjoy a safe, positive, and memorable experience whilst also following up to identify and respond to customer experiences and expectations.

Driving sales and upselling of our activities and photo packs, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Managing daily banking, cash handling, and reporting with precision.

Leading and motivating the kiosk customer service team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards by providing continual direction and feedback.

Acting as the on-site First Aider and championing a safety-first culture at all times.

Assist in developing and maintaining customer service policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
What we’re looking for:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

At least 1–2 years’ experience working in a safety-sensitive role, ideally within adventure tourism or a similar operational environment.

At least 1–2 years’ experience delivering exceptional customer service, ideally within adventure tourism or a similar environment.

Previous experience demonstrating calm, level-headed decision-making in emergency situations

Proven sales experience, with confidence upselling and meeting targets.
