The job:

You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food produce to various locations in and around Wellington, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.

• Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods.
• Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported.
• Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
• Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirement.
• Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc.
• Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required.
• Pick and pack orders when required.

The candidate:  

• A full Class 1 drivers license, must be able to drive manual.
• Have clear communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work on weekdays to cover absences will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Wellington and its surrounding areas is a plus.
• Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail.
• Clean driving and criminal records.
• Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
• Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Possess good organizational and time management skills.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Have reliable transport for commute.

• Operations: 6 days per week, Sunday to Friday.

The role:  You will pick, pack and processing customer orders accurately. 

• Efficiently picking, packing AND labelling goods for dispatch
• Achieve a high accuracy rate in picking orders without errors
• Coordinating and ensuring that the orders are packed on time.
• Ensure goods are dispatched accurately as per order requirements
• Maintaining a neat and tidy workplace at the end of your shift.
• Heavy lifting up to 20-25 kgs.
• Wrap pallets and assist in loading and dispatching
• Assist with general warehouse functions including stock take

The person: 

You will have experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment in a similar role, with a background in pick packing being ideal.
