Job Description
Full time permanent toolmaker with customer Service and mechanical ability requires for our busy company. The minimum work hour will be 36 per week and maximum will be 46 per week. There will be $45 overtime payment. The minimum wage is $0.00 ph and maximum wages will be 35.00ph. Candidate should pass a background check and be physically fit. New Zealand citizens or residents are preferable.
This position will suit applicants with high interest in hands-on service and end fitting hose assembly including small to large hoses for industrial and hydraulic applications. We stock a wide variety of couplings, fittings, valves, pumps, etc.
The person we seek should be up to speed with computer use including word, email, business systems. Training will be given for our products and procedures.
Tasks Include:
• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Developing and reviewing policies, programs and procedures concerning customer relations and goods and services provided
• Managing, motivating and developing staff providing customer services
• Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
• Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
• Used cad to machine parts to spec, construct assemblies, and fixtures.
• Checking accuracy of manufactured articles and finished patterns to fine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments
• Makes and repairs tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and other precision parts and equipment to fine tolerances for machine
tools and other production machinery.
• Operate vertical and horizontal jig mills, grinders and lathes to close tolerances for the production of automate manufacturing systems.
• Design and build press brake tooling, robotic weld fixtures, weld and inspection fixtures.
• Give helpful input on design and manufacturing procedures, and work from blueprint, sketch or verbal instruction.
• Assign work to other employees; set up machines and operate lathes, mills, grinders, and quoted jobs.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, promoting sound internal operations in addition to quality prototyping and installation work.
• Comply with safety codes, perform light equipment maintenance, clean SLA platforms and prepare SLA builds for finishing.
Skill required:
• At least three years of relevant experience, or, NZQF Level 4 qualification

We are looking for Machinery Operators for our busy horticulture business. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of operating and maintaining orchard machinery.
To be considered for this position you’ll have at least a qualification at Diploma level (Level 4) or at least three years of previous experience in the agriculture or horticulture industry. You must have a current driver's license (either a New Zealand license or an international license with no issues which would prevent a conversion of the license) You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.
You will be also expected to perform tasks such as operating and maintaining our orchard machinery including tractors, completing repair work and assisting in the procurement of new machinery, completing paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible. You will be solely responsible for operating and maintaining orchard machinery.
