Chef's duties will include:

Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs.

Planning and organising food preparation and cooking

Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.

Discussing food preparation issues with managers, dietitians, kitchen and waiting staff.

Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.

Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.

Supervising and training cooks and kitchen staff.
Skills and Experience Required for Chef - Our ideal candidate would have:
- either a minimum of 2 year relevant work experience or a relevant qualification (minimum level 4)
- Flexibility to work over any day of the week and must be available to work evenings, split shifts and weekends
- Availability to work on public holidays as per the roster
Payrate for Chef will range within $28 to $5 depending on the experience.
Restaurant Manager duties will include:

Supervising and coordinating the activities of front-of-house and back-of-house staff.

Monitoring quality of food and service, and addressing customer feedback.

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

Developing and implementing marketing or promotional activities to boost business growth.

Preparing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
Skills and Experience Required for Restaurant Manager
To be successful in this role, you should have:

Either a relevant qualification such as a diploma or degree in hospitality OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience

Strong leadership and organisational skills.

Ability to manage staff performance and foster a positive team environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Payrate for Restaurant Manager will range within $28 to 35 depending on the experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tasks required of you that is within your skills and capabilities that is necessary for the business of the company.
- Comply with all aspects of any contract, project or task and deliver customer services that meets or exceed the expectation of the customer or the Extrastaff business.
- Erect Scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
- Creating structures, forms or chutes and pouring concrete.
- Cover subfloors with building paper to keep out moisture and lay hardwood, parquet, or wood-strip-block floors by nailing floors to subfloor or cementing them to mastic or asphalt base.
- Fill cracks or other defects in plaster or plasterboard and sand patch, using patching plaster, trowel, and sanding tool.
- Position and secure steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in concrete forms, using fasteners, rod-bending machines, blowtorches, or hand tools.
- General labouring cleaning construction sites as required by managers
- Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and experience required:
- Some experience in construction industry is preferable, but not essential.
- Friendly, with good time management, & excellent work ethic are essential

- A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry
- Sound knowledge of H&S procedures
- Reliable and hardworking
