Job Description
We require additional employees to support our current team of approximately 110 Care and Support Workers.
We are looking for individuals that love being around people, are energetic and have great initiative. However, you will also know when standard policy and procedures must be followed.
Our ideal candidate will have a big heart and experience in the wider disability or care sectors (experience is desired but not compulsory) . A full and current drivers license is benefical and you must hold a at a minimum a Level 3 Health and Wellbeing Certificate.
As a Care Coach you will support those living with physical and/or intellectual disabilities to prepare and eat meals, plan their day and provide support with their weekly shopping. Be comfortable, capable and respectful when providing personal cares to people who have Very High Needs. You will accompany them on outings to the movies, the beach, the gym or to visit family or friends.
You will ultimately support them to live life, their way.
You need to be flexible and reliable and you need to be able to work rotating/various shifts. You will be able and willing to work awake night shifts, sleepover shifts, week days or weekend.
