Imaster Animation Limited specialized in providing creating animation (both 2D and 3D), visual effects, and other visual content for various clients. We are looking for a multimedia designer to join our awesome team.
You will be expected to work in our office based in Highland Park, Auckland, a minimum of 30 hours per week. This is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $30.00-$34.00 based on candidates' experience and skills.
Job Description for This Position

Plan, design, and develop high-quality digital media content, including videos, animated graphics, websites, posters, and other promotional materials, for online and recorded delivery.

Lead the conceptualisation and design process, interpreting creative briefs and consulting with clients and stakeholders to determine objectives, constraints, and audience needs.

Formulate design concepts and prepare storyboards, sketches, mock-ups, and layouts using both static and motion-based techniques to communicate design intent.

Execute full-cycle multimedia production including video editing, motion graphic design, and post-production, using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and others.

Support and manage digital marketing campaigns, producing visual content that aligns with brand identity and enhances audience engagement.

Collaborate confidently with team members and external clients to refine creative direction and meet project timelines and expectations.

Maintain and update content on website CMS platforms such as Shopify, Wix, or WordPress.

Archive multimedia assets and document creative work for future reference and client use.
Key Requirements for Successful Applicants:

Either have a bachelor degree or higher in related field or have at least five years’ of relevant work experience.

Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the majority of our clients and staff communicate in Mandarin. Native-level Mandarin language skills would be a distinct advantage.

Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role.

A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Liaise with clients and management to ascertain the detail of client project including functional aspects, visual look, budget & delivery requirements
2. Create superior functional design plans using design software, according to the client's requirements
3. Develop and present high quality designs and work with sales team to provide cost estimations to the client for approval
4. Complete all design details required for kitchen manufacture, including but not limited to appliances, sinks, handles, joinery colour, bench top details
5. Liaise with management, cabinet making team and external parties to ensure our clients receive excellence in both service & the end product.
Requirements :
· Have a level 4 diploma in interior/art design or related field or equivalent qualification, OR have 3 years’ relevant experience
· Portfolio of design work.
· Project management experience.
· Experience with computational design.
· Highly creative, imaginative and artistic.
