**About the Role**
As a Graduate Engineer within our highly successful Transmission & Distribution team, you will be involved in both the primary and secondary design of substation projects throughout Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). When you transition to a professional-level role, you can decide where your interests lie and what opportunities you want to pursue further.
You'll be working in a supportive, experienced team with a wide range of high-calibre clients on the preparation of substation electrical drawings and studies such as grounding, lightning protection, and power systems analysis. Each day will provide new opportunities and challenges.
**Qualifications**
+ **Bachelor's Degree:** You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Interest in power / power papers preferable.
+ **Graduate Year:** You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
+ **Commencement:** You must be able to commence work by February 2026. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026.

**A day in the life.**
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Participate in Capital Investments projects ensuring that technical solution follows corporate and market standards and is delivered with the expected quality, being on time and in budget.
+ Preparation of the user and technical specifications, coordinating the requirements of the main users (production, quality, etc.)
+ Ensure Process & Equipment safety for people, products and environment.
+ Being the site champion on hazardous dust and ensuring compliance for safety and legislation.
+ Challenge and continuously improve the factory automation system, and support the factory digital plan
+ Ensure the application of the market and local MES-E&A related legislation (i.e. electrical, calibration, etc). Comply with Nestle internal engineering functional compliance audit (EFCA).
+ Play a key role in the continuous improvement of our factories through mastering the process and product characteristics and being an active member of our daily operational team.
+ Develop a deep insight of the processes, and continuously strive for improvement of quality, safety or efficiency while protecting the technological know-how and competitive advantage.
+ Ensure that the key MES-E&A documentation is up to date and in place (i.e. SLD, URS, FDS, Calibration procedures, etc.).
**What will make you successful**
You will have strong demonstrated experience in Engineering and will have:
+ Degree/Diploma in an Engineering or Technical Bachelor discipline (Mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial engineering, or similar), including FMCG, food processing plants and technologies (Maintenance and Utilities), food safety and hygienic engineering.
+ Minimum 3 years Automation and/or MES engineer with Electrical experience.
+ Personnel Supervisory experience with technical teams, Mechanical and Electrical (contractors, suppliers or other 3rd parties).
+ Participation in the development of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team (preferably including different products and technologies in Electrical and Automation areas).
+ Participation in the development of small engineering improvement projects, defining technical equipment for Production and/or Industrial Services.
+ Participation in the start-up or commissioning of technical equipment and/or production line(s).
+ Work following defined indicators/Objectives and proactively tracking them.
+ Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
+ The right person must be proactive, thorough, and detailed, with a high level of relationship building.
