Job Description
Daybreak Solar Limited, a growing solar energy company committed to providing sustainable energy solutions, is seeking Electronic Engineering Technicians and Electrical Engineering Technicians to join our team in Komata.
Key Responsibilities for the Electronics Engineering Technician-
Install, test, and maintain electronic components and systems for solar energy solutions.

Diagnose and repair faults in electronic systems and solar installations.

Assist in the design and improvement of solar electronic systems.
-
Perform routine system inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
-
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver efficient project outcomes.
-
Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
-
Interpret and prepare technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and documentation.
-
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
-
Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify faults and perform repairs.
-
Assist engineers in conducting research and collecting data for analysis.
-
Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.

Monitor and record the performance of electrical systems and prepare reports.
Applicants must have:
-
A Bachelor’s degree of a bachelor’s degree in electronics or electricial engineering
OR -
At least five years of relevant experience in electronic engineering within the energy or solar industry.
In addition, applicants should:

Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrate effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

Be reliable and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Have good time management and organisational skills.

Be physically fit to perform duties on-site when required.

Hold a valid driver’s licence.
