**Job Description**
Our highly regarded Environmental team in Darwin is seeking Graduate to Professional-level Environmental Scientists and Engineers to support a wide range of exciting and meaningful projects across the Defence, government, mining, and energy sectors.
**At AECOM's Darwin office, you'll gain hands-on experience in:**
+ Environmental impact assessment and approvals
+ Contaminated land investigations and remediation
+ Hydrology, hydrogeology, and water quality monitoring
+ Biodiversity surveys and ecological assessments

**What will a day in this role look like:**
+ Conducting fieldwork in diverse and remote environments across the NT and beyond
+ Supporting or leading the preparation of environmental assessments, management plans, and technical reports
+ Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused outcomes
+ Engaging with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to support project delivery and business development efforts
+ Contributing to a positive team culture and collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment
**Qualifications**

**What are we looking for from you?**
+ A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, and a valid Australian driver's licence
+ A strong interest or experience in environmental approvals, contaminated land, or ecological fieldwork with 1+ years relevant experience
+ Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and get involved across a wide range of projects while contributing to a supportive, team-focused environment
+ Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
+ A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently when needed
+ A proactive attitude, curiosity to learn, and a commitment to delivering quality work
