Key Responsibilities-
Greet guests warmly, present menus and beverage lists, and take accurate orders

Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas

Process customer payments accurately and operate POS or cash register systems

Assist with table settings, restocking, and cleaning duties before, during, and after service

Provide recommendations on menu or beverage selections to enhance guest experience

Support kitchen and bar staff by communicating orders clearly and timely

Report complaints, incidents, or accidents promptly and complete documentation as needed

Perform any additional duties as reasonably requested by management
Health & Safety

Follow all company and legal health and safety policies, including hygiene standards

Identify hazards and take preventative action to maintain a Zero Harm work environment

Ensure safe practices are followed by staff, customers, and contractors at all times

Report incidents or unsafe behaviour immediately

Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) and related regulations

Promote a culture of safety and teamwork across all operations
About You

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in food and beverage service

A qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 2 or 3 (New Zealand) or AQF Certificate II/III (Australia) is desirable

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Courteous, calm, and professional presentation

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Basic computer literacy and experience with POS systems
