Job Duties :

• Prepare machine for operation.

Job Duties:

• Preparing and positioning plant for operation.
• Selecting, fitting and removing attachments such as buckets, winches, loading scoops, shovel blades and rock breaking hammers.
• Operating controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other materials.
• Monitoring operation of plant and adjusting controls to regulate pressure, speed and flow of operation, and ensuring safety of other workers.
• Raising, lowering and manipulating attachments using manual and hydraulic controls.

Experience:

• 3 years' recent experience or more experience in operating excavators.

• A current driver’s license is essential (an overseas license is also acceptable).

We have a Tractor/Machinery Operator vacancy and would like to hear from skilled horticulture workers with a good understanding of modern agricultural machinery and horticultural practices.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Inspect field conditions and assess soil quality or crop progress prior to machinery deployment.

• Manually clear debris, obstacles, or equipment hazards from fields to enable safe tractor and other machinery operation.

• Operate tractors and other mobile agricultural machinery for land preparation, planting, fertilising, and harvesting crops.
