Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate estimates and quotes for jobs
• Manage projects from initiation through to final delivery
• Complete design work and drafting as required
• Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks, including verifying associated calculation reports
• Coordinate and liaise with architects, contractors, and customers
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Maintain strong and effective communication with clients throughout each project

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• A trade-qualified and experienced civil/structural Engineer
• A qualification in Project Management
• Proven experience in residential design project management
• Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn new design software and applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to offer sound, practical advice
• Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

We will offer a minimum of 30 hours per week.

In this senior leadership role, you'll work closely with the Regional Director - Water, leading multidisciplinary teams on some of the country's most significant water infrastructure programmes.
You'll play a critical role in strengthening executive-level client relationships, elevating the Stantec brand, and positioning the business for long-term growth. With a strong focus on technical excellence, you'll oversee end-to-end delivery, integrate cross-discipline expertise, and shape strategic direction for complex water programmes.

About the Role
With a new branch opening and an internal promotion creating opportunity, we’re recruiting a Civil Site Engineer to join a highly capable and ambitious delivery team.

You'll lead boots-on-the-ground construction across energy infrastructure builds—from earthworks and trenching to concrete pads, cable ducts, and structural foundations. It’s a role with variety, autonomy, and real growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee site operations on energy projects (substations, power farms, HV trenching)

• Manage civil crews, subcontractors, plant, and materials

• Ensure all works meet H&S, quality, and program targets

• Report site progress to the Contracts Manager

• Mentor junior crew and contribute to a high-performing team culture

About You:

You will know how to run a tidy, productive site, and you’re confident delivering works that support critical energy infrastructure.

• 2+ years' experience in civil construction/infrastructure

• Proven site leadership—earthworks, in-situ or precast concrete, cable trenching

• Comfortable reading plans, managing crews, and liaising with engineers

• Strong commitment to H&S and a hands-on, lead-by-example style

• Willingness to travel or work away when required

• Positive, motivated, and a natural communicator
