The Account Technology Strategist (ATS) is a senior strategic technology advisor responsible for leading the technical engagement across New Zealand's major banking institutions. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing customer-centric digital transformation strategies, with a strong emphasis on AI, security, and cloud modernization.
**Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Customer Technology Strategy Leadership** Develop and maintain a high-impact technical account plan aligned with the customer's business objectives. Deliver a 3-Horizon roadmap that integrates Microsoft's technology vision with the bank's strategic priorities.
+ **Executive Relationship Management** Build trusted advisor relationships with CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, and innovation leaders. Drive strategic engagements that elevate Microsoft's role in the customer's transformation journey.
+ **Industry Expertise & Technical Depth** Translate complex banking challenges into actionable technology solutions. Leverage broad technical knowledge to orchestrate engagements across Azure, Dynamics, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
+ **Security & AI Advocacy** Position Microsoft as the trusted partner for secure AI adoption. Lead conversations around compliance, identity, and risk mitigation in financial services.
+ **Partner & Ecosystem Engagement** Collaborate with Industry Digital Strategists (IDS), Data Architects (DA), and Industry Experts (IE) to co-create solutions and expand opportunity pipelines.
+ **Sales Enablement & Opportunity Creation** Drive pipeline generation and technical sales motions. Align with Account Executives (AE) to ensure quota coverage and strategic alignment across NZ banking accounts.
**Qualifications**
**Required/minimum qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience.
+ Executive presence and stakeholder management
+ Consultative selling and strategic planning
+ Deep understanding of financial services industry trends
+ Technical fluency across Microsoft cloud offerings
+ Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

**What You Can Expect**
As a Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, you will support surgeons in theatre as they perform robotic-assisted surgical procedures, promoting Zimmer Biomet's range of products. This includes our integrated digital platforms such as mymobility® - a digital platform used to inform care decisions and create a new level of connection between patients and their surgeons.
In this role you will primarily support surgeons in Whangarei, Northland with occasional travel to support surgeons in other regions of New Zealand.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure the proper use of the ROSA® surgical robot, as well as our full product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and troubleshooting medical technology equipment, as well as providing training and support to hospital staff on the use of the ROSA® surgical robot and other Zimmer Biomet products and implants.

+ Assist in robotic-assisted surgical procedures, ensuring the effective use of Zimmer Biomet's products
+ Managing the surgical equipment requirements for each case, promoting the utilisation of ROSA® and mymobility®
+ Digital Platforms: Utilise mymobility® to enhance patient-surgeon communication and care decisions
+ Keeping up to date with new surgical techniques and providing in-service training around Zimmer Biomet technologies and implant portfolio

+ Tertiary qualifications: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing, Paramedicine or Sports/Exercise Science
