This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, and managing inventory replenishment, PO monitoring.

Main Responsibilities
 Purchase to Pay and Inventory Management :
 Handle and monitor MRP stock replenishment and GIM parameter review
Handle direct and indirect purchasing from internal and external vendors
ollow up and monitor purchase order status and communicate in a timely way with internal and external parties

Warehouse and Transport Management:
oordinate with service providers regarding local, import and export administrative duties
anage overseas and local claims for transport damage
ssist cycle count and yearly central warehouse stock take 

Successful candidates will have a strong background in logistics and inventory, and be able to quickly learn company products and procedures.
This is initially a 3 month assignment, but has good potential to continue should market conditions continue to improve. Salary commensurate with Experience.

About the role

Handle end to end global logistics operations in this newly created role based at the Te Aroha site. Taking the lead in ensuring the highest quality premium honey products reach customers across all channels and markets, this role is critical to delivering the global logistics strategy. What a typical day could look like

  • Overseeing all shipping, freight and 3PL management across US, UK and UAE markets
  • Developing channel-specific logistics strategies for Direct to Customer , Amazon, Retail and other International channels
  • Coordinating with Quality team to maintain product integrity through logistics processes
  • Manage inventory positioning across distribution nodes
  • Champion AI powered tools across supply chain functions

What you’ll bring to the table

Experienced in global logistics, you’ll have extensive knowledge in 3PL management, customs regulations and Omni-channel fulfillment. With a drive for continual optimisation, you can lead on technology to enhance visibility through loT and business intelligence tools.  Analytical thinking with excellent communication skills allows you to anticipate, plan and adapt to change whilst maintaining a premium customer service focus. Additionally, you will have:

  • Experience with Omni-channel fulfilment strategies (e-commerce, retail, Amazon)
  • Proven track record in 3PL management and international logistics
  • Knowledge of IoT, and emerging logistics technologies
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, automated reporting, and data visualisation
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline

**Your Role**
The core focus will be business growth, customer development and profitability. **Your Responsibilities**
**Business and Product Development**
- Actively own growth opportunities and partner with country and corporate stakeholders
- Act as Co-Pilot for selected GA and NA customers.
- Make commercial decisions in and outside RFQs to win and retain business
- Acquire or support the acquisition of new business and support the account management.
- Promote customer relations and develops the existing client base
- Localise the global Airfreight products to meet assigned market expectations and requirements

**Operations Excellence**
- Support the National Team in operation management / strategy as per the RACI
- Ensure daily operational execution as customer delivery

**Leadership and Development**
- Provide overall leadership and development for the Air Logistics team
- Grow talent and manage succession plans
- Lead and steer the organisation in line with the KN Culture based on KN
