We are currently seeking two highly motivated site engineering technicians to join our team. The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for planning, coordination, and technical documentation throughout the lifecycle of our projects — with a particular emphasis on on-site operations.
Your duties will include:
· Read, interpret, and apply installation plans, engineering drawings, building codes, and industry standards
· Work with other technicians or engineers on planning, scheduling, and organization of on-site activities
· Develop and revise working drawings, layouts, specifications, and preliminary sketches for window and door installation projects
· Coordinate and monitor work projects to ensure timely delivery and installation of products
· Conduct site inspections to verify that work and materials comply with specifications, regulations, and safety standards
· Calculate costs and prepare time and resource estimates for project tasks and installation phases
· Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and on-site staff to ensure seamless coordination and project progress
Requirement for this role:
- A relevant tertiary qualification at NZQF Diploma or higher, or at least two years of relevant work experience
(Fields may include Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Window & Door Installation, or similar disciplines in construction or manufacturing) - Strong skills in planning and execution
