Job Description
We are a company that installs Solar Panels to residential and commercial places
The role requires you to Assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics.
Core objectives include:
• Installer configures, installs, inspects, and maintains solar PV
systems for customers.
• Assess the environment and detect and mitigate any hazards
associated with installation.
• Map out where everything will go, and then place components
according to those designs.
• Seal the system against weather, using safety codes and
manufacturer specifications.
• Labelling of equipment, assist with lifting heavy equipment into
position.
• Install temporary or permanent height safety equipment.
• Perform general maintenance of building including pressure
washing.
• Fulfil other duties as required by management or other department
personnel as requested
You are required to have a NZQF level 4 qualification or atleast 3 years of work experience in the field.
This is a permanent role and you will be gaurenteed a minimum of 30 hours a week.

+ Apply documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance.
+ Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components.
+ Assist with required documentation, such as work completed forms, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms.
+ Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
+ Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
+ Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
+ Completes repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Mechanical trades qualified or automotive technician with heavy diesel qualification.
+ Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
+ Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience
+ Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities

+ Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
+ Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
+ Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens
+ Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent
+ Basic level of workshop or field service experience required
+ Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
+ Heavy Vehicle Experience preferred
+ HR License preferred
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Additional Information:**
+ Full Time / 40 hours per week
+ on-call roster
+ Overtime as required - Penalty rates paid for all work above 40 hours
+ All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
+ Domestic Relocation from across Australia _may_ be offered for the right candidate
+ Local Valid Drivers License
