As a project manager, you will need to come from a construction consultancy/client-side background. You have 5+years of NZ based experience with involvement on projects across industries such as aged care, high rise residential, health, education, utilities and rail. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, or Engineering is essential. Leadership qualities, a tenacious attitude and passion for what you do will make the cut in this environment. **About the role**
We are seeking an experienced **Senior** **Project Manager** to join our busy Water team based in our Tauranga Office. We are one of the few Engineering Consultancies in the country with in-house expertise in all disciplines required for water resource management. We can provide a comprehensive array of services encompassing innovative conceptual planning, investigations and feasibility studies, environmental planning, financial, economic and energy modelling, risk assessment, design, procurement, asset management, refurbishment and enhancement.
In addition to providing traditional engineering, design and construction management services, we have experience with complex design-builds, alliancing, programme management, information technology, asset management and business consulting.
In this varied role, you will work closely with our senior team of experienced engineers, Contracts Managers and project managers to continue our excellent project delivery track record. You will also support bids & proposals to ensure we can effectively deliver what we promise.
**What you will bring**
You will ideally have 8 years' experience in engineering/build project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure / three waters projects, working within high performing teams, and contributing to the financial success of a business.
Excellent organisation and time management skills are a given, along with a high level of financial competency, and an ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task to ensure deadlines are achieved. You will have demonstrable experience working directly with Clients to understand project briefs and delivering outcomes accordingly.
Fostering team performance and being an effective and efficient communicator will be essential to your success in this role. You will have ideally achieved Project Management qualifications or working towards the attainment of a recognised qualification.
