**JOB DUTIES:**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts to understand software requirements, design specifications, and user stories.
+ Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
+ Implement end-to-end automated test suites for APIs, hardware modules and other software components.
+ Perform continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) integration by integrating automated tests into the build and release pipelines.
+ Identify and document test cases, test scenarios, and test data to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
+ Execute automated tests, analyse test results, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
+ Mentor junior team members, contribute to code reviews, provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to coding standards for automated test code.
+ Monitor and report on test automation progress, test coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to test automation and software quality assurance.
**YOU MUST HAVE:**
+ 3+ years of experience in product software testing and development (coding in an object-oriented programming language - Java or Python preferred).
+ Experience with AWS / jenkins / ansible and other tools that can support automation.
+ Creation of test plans, test case identification, creating and maintaining a test case database.
+ Experience developing and executing a comprehensive set of automation test sets and test cases.
+ Exposure to firmware testing and/or validation.
**WE VALUE:**
+ Experience with Unix and/or Linux tools and scripting languages.
+ Experience working closely with development team to identify and implement automated test cases.
+ Experience writing automated tests and integrating automated tests into continuous development and deployment systems.
+ Planning and estimating test efforts, providing test reports.
+ Experience with raspberry pi systems.
+ Defect tracking.
+ Manual testing where required.
+ Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
+ Attention to detail, and ability to communicate that detail to others.
+ Experience implementing and extending an automated test framework.
+ Willingness to travel abroad to assist bringing products into production and collaborate within a global team (US & China).
+ Knowledge of Image Processing and Computer Vision.
+ Experience working in an Agile environment.

The Opportunity
We are expanding and seeking an experienced Forest Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our forestry operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Report directly to management through operational monitoring aligned with forestry certification standards.
Administer and coordinate Quality Assurance systems to meet client expectations.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, including attending training and OSH seminars.
Oversee vehicle, trailer, and ATV, ute's, tools, inspections.
Conduct audits on forest operations, reporting on forest health, compliance, and contractor performance.
Manage data collection and maintain QA system checklists, procedures and reports.
Inspect tools and forest equipment, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Train and guide staff to uphold forestry quality standards and best practices.
Travel is normal for this role, for project oversight (with one week’s notice; food and accommodation provided for overnight stays).
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in forestry or natural resource management.
Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Forestry, Engineering, or related field.
Strong understanding of silviculture, forestry operations, and FSC-certified forest management.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, data analysis, PlotSafe, and GIS tools.
Strong Health & Safety focus and commitment.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.

**QA Systems / Audit Engineer**
We are seeking an additional QA Systems/Audit Engineer to join their well-established QA team. The QA Systems/Audit Engineer works to ensure that the CHCEC's Quality Management (QMS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS) are in compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements, that the business operation is in conformance with the QMS & SMS and that the business delivers a safe and airworthy product.
**Your Role**
+ Monitor and interpret civil aviation regulations, incorporating applicable requirements into CHCEC's Quality and Safety Management Systems to ensure ongoing compliance
+ Plan and conduct audits of product and support sections, engine certification documents, and external repair vendors
+ Direct and lead external regulatory and customer auditors within the product and support sections.
+ Lead and administer safety inquiries and quality investigations.
+ Issue Company Authorisations.
**Your Profile**
+ Hold an NZCAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or an overseas equivalent
+ Hold or be prepared to gain a Lead Auditor qualification
+ Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in aviation maintenance, preferably with some experience working in a QA function in an aero-engine MRO
+ Have a high level of computer and IT literacy
+ Be a confident and empathic communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels
+ Be a team player
+ Lead by example - maintain high standards of professionalism
+ Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
+ Be friendly, outgoing, and passionate about what you do
**OPTIMAL QUALIFICATIONS**
