Atmiya corporation limited is a retail store focusing on quality, affordable departmental products. We are the bestloved departmental stores in the christchurch, Canterbury its professional approach and attention to detail. Our products are various from p arty product, toys, stationery, art & craft, hair & beauty products, kitchen products, household products, garden products, gift products, greeting cards, mobile accessories, etc.  

Currently we looking for a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee store operations and lead our team. This is a full-time position.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the store, including staff supervision
• Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centred on seasonal sales and other cycles
• Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store
• Managing product, pricing, and seasonal promotion
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and merchandising
• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times
• Develop staff rosters, manage training, and monitor performance
• Implement sales strategies to maximise profitability
• Maintain health, safety, and hygiene compliance in the workplace
• Any additional store manager duties as required from time to time  

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a local retail supervision/management role
• Proven ability to manage a team and work independently
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong customer service focus and problem-solving ability
• Must be physically fit and able to lift items up to 20 kilograms as part of regular duties

Tuesday: PNS Queenstown 6am start
Wednesday: PNS Queenstown 6am start, _followed on by 8am start at NW Wakatipu_
Thursday: PNS Queenstown 6am start
Friday: PNS Queenstown 6am start, _followed on by 8am start at NW Wakatipu_

+ Be flexible, as hours may change due to business needs and busy times of the year;
+ Be comfortable using the technology in a Smart phone.

**About You**
+ Previous supervisory and/or management experience in the customer service or retail apparel industry
+ Experience in achieving KPI's including sales and wage budgets, UPT, conversion rate, average $, shrinkage and mystery shops
+ Excellent communication skills and extensive people management skills with the confidence to recruit, mentor and motivate a team
+ Strong attention to detail and experience in stock management and visual merchandising
+ Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
+ Vibrant, energetic and authentic with a positive attitude
