Job Description
The Master Data Analyst – Procurement is responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining master data related to suppliers, materials, contracts, and procurement processes. The main goal of this role is to ensure that procurement data is accurate, reliable, and consistent across systems, enabling better decision-making, process optimization, and overall efficiency in the supply chain.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in ERP systems, data governance, and procurement analytics. The analyst will collaborate closely with the procurement team to support negotiations, supplier evaluations, and sourcing strategies, while also contributing to digital transformation and process automation projects.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and capable of identifying opportunities for savings, risk reduction, and supplier performance improvements through effective use of data.
Key Responsibilities:1. Master Data Management
Create, update, and maintain supplier, material, and purchasing condition master data.
Establish and enforce data quality standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Guarantee correct integration of procurement data across ERP and purchasing systems.
2. Analysis and Optimization
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
Generate reports on spend, contracts, compliance, and supplier performance.
Detect and correct data inconsistencies impacting sourcing, negotiations, or supply.
3. Strategic Procurement Support
Provide accurate and reliable data for supplier negotiations and tenders.
Support supplier evaluation, segmentation, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate with procurement leadership to define data-driven strategies and policies.
4. Process Improvement and Compliance
Design and implement procedures for ongoing data control and maintenance.
Participate in digitalization and automation projects for procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and company requirements related to procurement data.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis within Procurement, Supply Chain, or related areas.
Strong command of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and data management practices.
Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Intermediate to advanced English skills.
