Due to continued growth in the energy sector, we are expanding our Transmission & Distribution team and are seeking an additional Substation Design Engineer with primary or secondary experience to join our Christchurch office.

+ Performing concept and detailed design of primary and/or secondary systems for transmission and distribution substation projects.

**Job Description**
You will be responsible for providing installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
**Key Areas of Responsibilities:**
+ Provides prompt and courteous service responses to routine customer enquiries (for Tier I products)
+ Performs minor maintenance, repairs and component replacement at the module level
+ Assists in site preparation including cable installation, staging and standard testing of equipment

**Your Opportunity**
Be part of the King Air KA350 maintenance team based at Ohakea, New Zealand, that provides direct support to the Royal New Zealand Air Force Air CrewTraining Capability.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the positions of Aircarft Maintenance Engineers (AME) and Licenced Aircraft Maintence Engineere (LAME) with Avionics and/or Airframe/Engine experience will be considered.
**What will help you to Succeed as a LAME?**
+ Hold a valid NZ CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence in either Avionics or Airframe/Engine categories.
+ Your Licence holds relevant Type Rating and/or demonstrate previous experience with relevant avionics systems with King Air B200/B300 Series aircraft and/or PT6 engines.
+ Non-NZ CAA Licence holders may be considered provided they meet the basic requirements of NZ CAA Foreign Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence Recognition.
+ Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to plan, organise and prioritise their work in alignment to customer schedules and contract requirements.
+ Open to Rotational 5 day work week rosters with Early Start/Early Finish, Late start/Late finish schedules. Occasional weekend work will be required subject to customer requirements.
+ Previous experience in a highly customer focused and centric environment, with a "we are here to help" approach.
+ Detail focused with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
